Case study: Edinburgh Local Biodiversity Action Plan

The Edinburgh Local Biodiversity Action Plan (2010-2015) includes the first Scottish city-based geodiversity action plan. There are five actions linked with 17 targets focused on the identification of Local Geodiversity Sites, monitoring site condition, promoting their value and engagement with partners, promoting their use for education and public awareness, and developing skills and resources to support the work of Lothian and Borders Geoconservation Group.
